Adotena is one part of your support circle. These community programs offer additional help with pregnancy, parenting, child development and basic needs.

Way to Grow provides free, family-centered support for expectant parents and families with children through age eight in Minneapolis and surrounding communities. Families can receive individualized support from Family Educators, including prenatal education, child development guidance, parenting education, home or virtual visits and connections to community resources.
Pregnancy • Postpartum • Newborn • Home Visiting
Hennepin County offers family home visiting and maternal-child health services for eligible families at no cost. Programs can help families during pregnancy, after birth and throughout early childhood with support from public health nurses and other trained professionals.
- WIC:Nutrition support for pregnant and postpartum families.
- Baby Tracks:Help understanding your baby’s development and milestones.
- Child & Teen Checkups:Regular well-child and teen health checkups.
- Parent Support:Programs and groups that support new parents.
